EDMONTON - John Stanton, participant in at least 60 marathons around the racing world, spoke fluently Friday about thoroughbreds — both equine and human.

His words were spoken at Northlands Park, which joins Stanton as a major supporter of the annual Edmonton Marathon that begins at 6 a.m. Sunday.

Alberta's Best Road Races in 2010

Some noticeable changes in the Athletics Alberta 2010 Top 10 rankings — including the Canadian Derby Edmonton Marathon moving up to second spot just ahead of the Melissa’s Road Race — Alberta’s Top Road Race in 2008.
