Edmonton, AB – The 2010 Intact Insurance Canadian Derby Edmonton Pledge Program was officially launched this week. This is the first year that the Pledge Program has been adopted by the Marathon and 13 charities have confirmed they will be participating. The 2010 Intact Insurance Canadian Derby Edmonton Marathon weekend will take place on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22, 2010. The charities raise funds and awareness by encouraging individuals to run or walk for their individual cause, and by collecting pledges.
