Not all kids have the opportunity to be involved in sports. For those who dream of hitting a homerun, playing goal, shooting hoops and making new friends it`s all possible through KidSport. For a happier, healthier lifestyle for all kids in Edmonton, KidSport makes a difference. KidSport provides support to children and youth to help remove the financial barriers that prevent them from participating in organized sport programs.

Since launching in 1995, KidSport Edmonton has distributed over $747,000 to help more than 5,350 children and youth. The focus of KidSport is on the economic, social and educational needs of the community. Sport is a tool that can help develop a strong and healthy community.

Join Team KidSport by collecting pledges for the 2011 Canadian Derby Edmonton and help ensure even more local kids, who would not otherwise have a chance to participate in organized sport, get to play.
