Registering a Team:

All Team Registrations required a password.

Team Captains:

During the registration process under the Team Section question Select Team Captain from the menu

Enter Your Team Name

Select the Team Category that applies to your registration

On the registration confirmation email the Team captain receives a link and password to invite members that reads

To invite team members to join Your Team Name please send them the following link:
This line will have an Active link to your team registration.
In order for them to become a member of your team they will need to supply your team password.

TEAM RULES

• Team Captain - Responsible for creating and managing teams.
• Register Team Name - Team Captain must register team name online before registering team members. All team members must be registered individuals and pay the individual registration fee.
• Team Registrations are exclusive to the one event. Captains can only invite members to join the event that they are registered in. ( ie. If the captain registers in the half marathon event invitations are sent to participants to join the half marathon team ).

 

Team Management:

Captains can manage their Teams on their member’s profile.

If you have a members profile with the Running Room make sure that you enter your login during the registration process.

If you do not have a profile you can have the option to create a profile at the end of the registration process.

To manage your teams go to your Athlete Dashboard where you can view your registration and team information. As team members sign up they will automatically be listed on your team list. As team captain you have the ability to edit the team list by removing team members if required. This will allow you to manage the list to accommodate movement of members. If you free up a spot on the team then you can send out an invitation to another person to join the team.
