| Do you provide finisher medals for each event? | Yes, all participants will receive a finisher medal upon crossing the finish line. Award medals are also provided for the top 3 male/female in each event. |

| Are shirts unisex or men/women? Brand? | The shirts are unisex and there is no brand specified. |

| Where can I park on race day? | It is strongly recommended that you use public transportation on race day as there are several road closures around Northlands. Light Trail Transit (LRT) is highly recommended. Please view LRT Map here. |

| Can I run with my stroller? | Strollers are only allowed in the 5K and 10K and will be placed at the back of all runners/walkers, and will be asked to stay on the outside of runners (either to the left or right) |

| Do I have to return my timing chip? | We are using a new system this year called BibTag in which your timing chip is integrated into your bib. You will not be receiving a separate timing chip to put onto your shoe. |
| Is there a bag check or bag drop on race day? | Bag check for the 5 km and 10 km on August 20, 2011 will open at 6:00 pm and closes at 8:30 pm. This will be located at the start/finish line. All items not picked up by 8:30 pm will be donated to charity. Bag check in the Sky Paddock inside Northlands Park on Sunday, August 21, 2011. Please note that bag check opens at 6:00 am and closes at 3:00 pm. Any items not picked up by 3:00 pm will be donated to charity. Event Organizers assume no risk for items left at the Bag Check. |
| Where do I purchase extra brunch tickets? | You can purchase them online at the time of registration only. |
| When and where will results be posted? | Results will be posted online through www.raceheadquarters.com |
| Are there washrooms on the course? | Yes, there are portable toilets at every water station along the course. |
| What is the difference between chip time and gun time? |
The difference between chip and gun time is the chip is able to register with the mats at the start and finish of the race and therefore gives you a time that reflects the true distance that you ran. Chip timing has become popular over the last ten plus years as mass participation events have grown and participants do not get to the start line when the gun goes off as they are behind thousands of people. Chip times can be displayed on the official results as well as the gun times, but should not be used to sort the finishers. Net chip times are for personal interest only. Running is a true sport and the “winners” are decided by whomever gets to the finish line first, regardless of the exact time you cross the start mat. Any athlete that believes they can win overall or age group should make the effort to be close to the start line. |
| What is iTaB? | An iTaB is an engraved insert which fits neatly into the recessed box area on the back of a finisher’s medal, detailing the athlete’s name, finish time and finishing position to create a valuable, lasting memento. All you have to do to get this race souvenir is select iTaB during your registration process and shortly after your event you will receive the iTaB in the mail. You will then affix the iTaB to your medal via the 3M adhesive backing. Don’t miss out on this great keepsake! |
| How many aid stations will there be for the marathon? | Waterstations for each marathon will be at roughly the following KM points: 3.5K, 6K, 9K, 13K, 17.5K, 20K (Gels), 24K, 27.5K (Gels), 30K (Gels), 32K, 35K, 37.5K (Gels), 40K (Gels). We do recommend that you bring your own gels. We cannot guarantee the flavors of the gels that will be provided. All waterstations will have water and GU Brew. |
| What time is the brunch served? | Brunch will be served on the infield at Northlands Park from 10 am Until 3 pm |
